I just finished reading a submarine book, is it true that we took scraps of missiles and made countermeasures?
The US use to take scraps of soviet fired missiles, and find "soft" countermeasures for them? This sounds dangerous. What if the wrong group of people had a tomahawk, couldn't they create a countermeasure for it? What about our nuclear weapons?
I don't know how true this book is, but my bet is that exaggeration is something the author did with a few of the technical details.
I suppose missiles can be hacked, but it'd be extremely hard to. The more modern air-to-air missiles now
