when doing airfix or revell model kits do u paint each part before assembly or after?
do i paint before assembly or after, im currently doing a revell apollo astronaught and some bits would prob be better off being painted before i attatch them but whats the best way.also whats the deal with my kit has some paints with it but the box shows
For the last 20+ years, I've been at LEAST primer-painting everything before assembly, and with most models, I'll paint the base-color as well before assembly.

For Scale 2011 Revell has made the choice of entries as wide as possible: “ You are totally free in the choice of your model kit and in the design. A pre-selection of ten models per category will then be presented during the ‘modell hobby spiel’ show in Leipzig. ” Last year’s entries were extremely impressive, as you can see from the trio shown here, with full details shown at results time last year in the SMN article here. Details of this year’s prestigious ‘Scale 2011’ competition are coming through from Revell Germany. We again search the best model of the year.
